Your Right to Cancel
Reliant Moving Solutions is committed to transparency and protecting your consumer rights. You have the right to cancel your move order at no charge, provided you do so within the required timeframe outlined below.
You may cancel your move without penalty within 3 business days of signing the Bill of Lading, provided your move has not yet been dispatched. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing as required under 49 CFR § 375.505(h).
How to Submit a Cancellation
To cancel your order within the 3-business-day window, follow these steps:
- 1Submit your cancellation in writing — email is acceptable and recommended so you have a confirmed timestamp.
- 2Send your written cancellation to info@reliantmovingsolutions.com or call 888-676-7163 to notify our team.
- 3Include your full name, move date, origin and destination ZIP codes, and the reason for cancellation in your message.
- 4You will receive a written confirmation of your cancellation from our team, typically within 1 business day.
Cancellation After 3 Business Days
If you cancel after the 3-business-day window following the signing of your Bill of Lading, cancellation fees may apply depending on how far in advance of your scheduled pickup date the cancellation is received.
Cancellation fees, if applicable, will be outlined in your individual service agreement. We encourage all customers to review their paperwork carefully and contact us as early as possible if plans change.
⚠️ Important: Once your move has been dispatched and a carrier is en route, cancellation may not be possible and full charges may apply. Please contact us immediately at 888-676-7163 if your situation changes.
Refund Policy
If you cancel within the 3-business-day window and your move has not been dispatched, any deposit paid will be refunded in full. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
Partial refunds may apply for cancellations made after the 3-business-day window. The specific refund amount will depend on the timing of cancellation relative to your scheduled pickup and any costs already incurred. These terms will be detailed in your service agreement.
Changes to Your Move Date or Details
Need to reschedule rather than cancel? We'll do our best to accommodate date or detail changes. Please contact us as early as possible — ideally at least 5 business days before your scheduled pickup — so we can make adjustments without disruption.
Rescheduling is subject to carrier availability and may affect your original pricing. Our team will walk you through any changes before confirming them.
